DNS Filtering Service using Threat Intelligence Feeds

This project presents a DNS Filtering Service using Threat Intelligence Feeds to improve cybersecurity by identifying and blocking access to malicious websites. The system analyses user-entered URLs using threat intelligence data and DNS verification techniques to determine whether a website is safe, suspicious, or malicious. By preventing users from accessing harmful websites, the system helps protect against phishing attacks, malware distribution, and other online security threats. The application provides a simple and user-friendly interface where users can scan website URLs in real time. It performs DNS resolution to verify domain validity and compares the URL against threat intelligence information to assess its security status. Based on the analysis, the system classifies the website as Safe, Suspicious, or Malicious, displays the associated risk level, and recommends the appropriate action. All scan results are stored for future reference, while administrators can monitor system activity, manage blocked domains, and review security statistics through an admin dashboard.
