Online banking has transformed the financial services industry by providing customers with convenient, secure, and real-time access to banking facilities. HDFC Bank, one of India’s leading private sector banks, offers a comprehensive suite of online banking services designed to meet the evolving needs of individuals, businesses, and corporate clients. Through its NetBanking platform and mobile banking applications, customers can perform a wide range of financial transactions, including fund transfers, bill payments, account management, investment services, and loan applications. The present study examines the range and effectiveness of these digital offerings, the usage patterns and satisfaction levels of customers, and the adequacy of the security framework that underpins online transactions. It further considers the influence of digital banking on operational efficiency and service delivery, and offers recommendations for strengthening the bank’s digital banking ecosystem.
