This project presents the implementation of a regenerative braking system in an electric utility truck using a dynamobased mechanism. The system aims to improve energy efficiency by recovering kinetic energy lost during braking. Instead of dissipating energy as heat, the dynamo converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. This generated energy is stored in the battery for future use. The system works alongside conventional braking to ensure safety and reliability. The design integrates both electrical and mechanical components effectively. It enhances vehicle performance by extending battery life and driving range. The system also reduces overall energy consumption. This approach promotes eco-friendly transportation solutions. Hence, it contributes to sustainable energy utilization in electric vehicles.
