In this work, SnO₂ thin films were deposited on glass substrates by spray pyrolysis at
300 and 400 °C. The formation of a polycrystalline tetragonal rutile phase was confirmed by
X-ray diffraction, with average crystallite sizes of ~15 nm and ~47 nm. The surface
morphology growth on the glass substrate was examined using scanning electron microscopy.
Their energy band gaps are determined from absorbance spectra. The function group was
identified in SnO2, and its force constant and bond length were determined from FTIR
spectra
