The world is starting to take notice of cryptocurrency. The impact of customers' unique
traits and mindsets on their willingness to accept cryptocurrencies is investigated. PLS-SEM is used
to evaluate data from 452 samples of U.S. consumers. The results show that consumers' propensity
for innovation is positively related to their willingness to use cryptocurrencies, with this relationship
being mediated in part by their attitudes. The LOHAS perspective tempered the impact of consumers'
innovativeness on their propensity to use cryptocurrencies, as well as the relationship between
attitudes and intentions. This study has both theoretical and practical significance for the bitcoin
industry.
