The Advanced Hydro-Intelligence System for Smart Dam and Real-Time Hydrological Risk Management is a sophisticated IoT-enabled monitoring and control platform designed to continuously assess water level conditions, pH quality parameters, and structural safety indicators across dam infrastructure, enabling proactive flood risk mitigation and water resource management. The system integrates a level sensor and pH sensor as primary data acquisition modules interfaced with an ESP32 microcontroller that performs real-time data processing, threshold evaluation, and multichannel alert generation through LCD display, buzzer activation, GSM-based SMS notification, servo motor actuator control, and IoT cloud connectivity. By continuously monitoring water levels and chemical composition simultaneously, the system provides dam operators and hydrological risk management authorities with actionable intelligence that enables preemptive intervention before critical flood thresholds are reached, significantly reducing the risk of catastrophic dam failure events. The proposed architecture leverages low-cost, commercially available IoT components to deliver enterprisegrade monitoring capability, making advanced hydrological risk management accessible to dam facilities that lack the resources to deploy proprietary SCADA systems. This research demonstrates the transformative potential of IoT-based smart sensing in water infrastructure management, offering a scalable, cost-effective, and reliable solution for safeguarding lives, property, and ecosystems downstream of monitored dam facilities.
