Abstract

This paper presents an innovative approach to land mine detection by integrating multiple sensor technologies with real-time video streaming capabilities. The system employs an ESP-32 microcontroller as the central processing unit, coordinating inputs from a metal detector for ferrous object identification, GPS module for precise location tracking, vibration sensor for ground disturbance analysis, and ESP-CAM for live visual monitoring. The sensor fusion technique enhances detection accuracy by correlating data from multiple sources, significantly reducing false positives. Upon detecting potential threats, the system provides immediate alerts through an LCD display, buzzer alarm, and GSM module for remote notification. A robotic platform enables safe autonomous or semiautonomous operation in hazardous areas, protecting human operators from direct exposure. The integration of real-time streaming allows remote operators to visually assess suspected areas before taking action, combining automated detection with human judgment for optimal safety and efficiency.
