Abstract

In cloud and fog computing, ensuring effective, safe, and uniform healthcare data interoperability is a major concern. The hybrid system presented in this research combines blockchain, AI-powered middleware, and FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) to improve healthcare data processing in real-time, security, and interoperability. Blockchain provides decentralized and impenetrable security, FHIR provides structured data representation, and AI-powered middleware facilitates intelligent data processing. Performance indicators that show the suggested method works better than current methods include data processing time, security breach rate, interoperability score, latency, and storage efficiency. Improved scalability, decreased latency, greater security, and optimum resource use are all shown by the results, which make it a strong option for contemporary cloud-fog hybrid healthcare environments.
