Legal contracts can contain lengthy clauses, complex terminology, obligations, conditions, deadlines, and potential areas of concern. Manually reviewing large contracts can require significant time and attention, particularly when users need to identify specific clauses or compare different sections. The proposed system uses Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Generative AI, semantic analysis, and document processing to analyze uploaded contracts. The system extracts text from documents and identifies important sections such as payment terms, termination clauses, confidentiality provisions, obligations, liabilities, renewal conditions, penalties, and other contract-related information. A clause-classification module categorizes extracted clauses according to their general purpose. A risk-analysis component evaluates clauses against predefined patterns, rules, and configurable risk indicators.
