AI CHATBOT FOR COLLEGE STUDENT SERVICES

Abstract

The AI Chatbot for College Student Services is an intelligent system designed to provide students with quick, convenient, and automated access to important collegerelated information and services. Students often need information regarding courses, class schedules, examinations, attendance, fees, departments, faculty, events, campus facilities, and academic procedures. Traditional methods of obtaining such information may require students to visit administrative offices, contact faculty members, or search through different college resources, which can be time-consuming. The proposed chatbot provides a centralized conversational interface through which students can obtain relevant information using simple natural language queries. The system uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to understand student questions and provide appropriate responses. It can identify the intent of a students query, process the available college information, and return relevant answers through a conversational interface. The chatbot can be designed to handle frequently asked questions, provide academic and administrative information, guide students to appropriate departments, and assist with common college services. The main objective of the proposed system is to improve accessibility to college information while reducing the workload of administrative staff. The chatbot can provide responses quickly and can be made available throughout the day, allowing students to access information without depending entirely on office working hours. It also provides a consistent method of delivering frequently requested information.
