Soil improvement is considered an alternative when the naturally available soil does not meet the required engineering properties for construction. A deep foundation is typically used in weak soil, but shallow foundations can be adopted using ground improvement techniques This study examines the locally available soil in the Bheemili district. Initially we determined Index properties of the soil followed by California Bearing Ratio. California bearing ratio for Coffee Husk with Fly Ash and Coffee Husk with Copper Slag of different percentages (5%,10%,15% of coffee husk, and 5% of either fly ash or copper slag). Based on our investigation, we found that 5% coffee husk with fly ash and 5% coffee husk with copper slag gave the highest strength. In the comparison of the two combinations, coffee husk of 5% with copper slag of 5% gave appreciable results.
