Abstract

Saving and spending behavior plays a vital role in determining an individual's financial well-being and long-term economic security. This study examines the factors influencing saving and spending habits among individuals, including income level, financial literacy, lifestyle, family background, and personal financial goals. It explores how people allocate their income between essential expenses, discretionary spending, and savings, while identifying the challenges that prevent effective financial management. The study also analyzes the relationship between saving behavior and responsible spending practices in achieving financial stability and wealth creation. The findings are expected to highlight the importance of budgeting, financial planning, and disciplined spending in improving savings habits and promoting better financial decision-making. Overall, the study provides valuable insights for individuals, educators, financial institutions, and policymakers to encourage healthy financial behavior and enhance financial resilience.
