This research compares the portfolio management practices followed at SBI. Portfolio management helps investors accomplish financial goals by managing risk and return. SBI's investment strategy, risk management, asset allocation, and portfolio performance are compared with those of other financial institutions. This research evaluates SBI's equity funds, debt instruments, and hybrid portfolios using financial variables including return on investment, the risk-return tradeoff, diversification, and portfolio diversification methodologies. The study also evaluates client preferences, investing behaviour, and satisfaction with respect to SBI's portfolio management services. The research uses both primary and secondary data. Yearly reports, financial accounts, and government publications provide secondary data, whereas surveys and questionnaires provide primary data. SBI's portfolio management services are evaluated and recommendations are made to improve investment strategies and client service. The report concludes by outlining the strengths and weaknesses of SBI's portfolio management system and making suggestions to increase portfolio performance and investor satisfaction.
