Abstract

The present study focuses on the analysis of heat transfer in magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) mixed convection of nanofluids through porous media via numerical techniques. Fluid dynamics, thermal conductivities, and electromagnetic interactions are highlighted as important factors affecting the rate of heat transport. Conservation principles of mass, momentum, and energy were utilised in formulating the governing equations of the problem, and appropriate boundary conditions were assumed for porous media. Simulations and visualisations of the problem were done using MATLAB. The study focuses on the effects of viscosity, porosity, and magnetic field strength on fluid flow behaviour.
