Abstract

The increasing frequency of global disruptions, including pandemics, geopolitical conflicts, climaterelated disasters, cyberattacks, and economic uncertainties, has highlighted the importance of supply chain resilience (SCR) in modern business operations. Simultaneously, rapid advancements in digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, and Digital Twins have transformed traditional supply chain management practices. This study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) of supply chain resilience in the context of digital transformation. Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) methodology, peer-reviewed articles published between 2015 and 2026 were analyzed to identify key themes, emerging trends, challenges, and research gaps. The review synthesizes findings from significant studies and develops a conceptual framework linking digital transformation capabilities with supply chain resilience dimensions, including visibility, agility, adaptability, collaboration, and recovery. The findings indicate that digital technologies significantly enhance disruption detection, risk management, real-time decision-making, and operational flexibility. However, challenges related to cybersecurity, technology integration, data governance, organizational readiness, and investment costs continue to hinder effective implementation. Based on the synthesis, this paper proposes a future research agenda emphasizing artificial intelligence-driven resilience, sustainable and circular supply chains, digital ecosystems, autonomous decision-making, and resilience measurement frameworks. The study contributes to theory by integrating resilience and digital transformation perspectives, offers practical guidance for managers, and highlights technological and sustainability implications. The paper serves as a comprehensive reference for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers seeking to build resilient and digitally enabled supply chains in an increasingly uncertain global environment.
