The Smart Home Automation System using Raspberry Pi is designed to provide intelligent control, enhanced security, and efficient energy management in residential environments. The system integrates various sensors and actuators such as IR sensors, LDR, LEDs, buzzer, DC motor, and LCD display with a Raspberry Pi controller. The IR sensors detect motion and object presence, enabling automated control of household appliances. The LDR monitors ambient light intensity and controls lighting accordingly to reduce power consumption. The DC motor simulates automatic door operation, improving convenience and accessibility. The buzzer acts as a security alert mechanism during unauthorized movements. The LCD display provides real-time information about system status and sensor readings. Raspberry Pi processes sensor inputs and controls output devices through programmed logic. The proposed system improves user comfort, security, and energy efficiency. It provides a scalable platform for future IoT-based smart home applications. The system demonstrates a cost-effective and reliable solution for modern home automation requirements.
