Personal Health Monitoring System Using Raspberry Pi
DOI:

The Personal Health Monitoring System using Raspberry Pi is an advanced and efficient solution designed to continuously monitor vital health parameters of individuals in real time. This system integrates multiple sensors such as the DHT11 sensor for measuring body temperature and humidity, a heart rate sensor for tracking pulse rate, and an ADXL sensor for detecting body movements and sudden falls. The Raspberry Pi acts as the central processing unit, collecting and analyzing data from all connected sensors. The monitored parameters are displayed on an LCD screen for instant user feedback. In case of abnormal conditions such as irregular heart rate, high temperature, or accidental falls, a buzzer is activated to alert the user or caregivers. The proposed system is compact, economical, and easy to implement, making it suitable for elderly people, patients, and home healthcare applications. It minimizes frequent hospital visits and supports remote health supervision. The system enhances patient safety and contributes to the development of smart healthcare solutions through embedded technology and real-time monitoring.
