The rapid growth of the hospitality industry and the increasing demand for digital services have significantly transformed the way users search, book, and manage accommodations. Traditional hotel reservation methods often suffer from inefficiencies such as fragmented platforms, lack of real-time availability, and poor coordination between customers and hotel owners. To address these challenges, this project presents QuickStay, a comprehensive hotel reservation system designed to provide a unified, efficient, and user-friendly solution for both travelers and property owners. QuickStay is a full-stack web application developed using modern technologies including React.js forthe frontend, Node.jswith Express.jsfor backend services,and MongoDB for data storage. The system integrates secure authentication mechanisms, real-time booking functionality, and online payment processing using Stripe. Additionally, Cloudinary is utilized for efficient image management, enabling high-quality media handling for hotel listings. The platform offers two primary interfaces: one for travelers and another for hotel owners. Travelers can search for accommodations based on multiple parameters such as location, date, price range, and amenities. The system ensures real-time availability and provides detailed information including images, reviews, and ratings, allowing users to make informed decisions. On the other hand, hotel owners are provided with a dedicated dashboard to manage listings, monitor bookings, and analyze revenue through interactive insights. A key feature of QuickStay is its integrated booking and management system, which eliminates the need for multiple platforms and reduces operational complexity. The system is designed with scalability and performance in mind, ensuring smooth handling of multiple users and transactions simultaneously. Security measures such as authentication, authorization, and encrypted payment processing are implemented to protect user data and ensure safe transactions.
