DOS DETECTION SYSTEM
DOI:

A Denial-of- Service (DoS) attack is one of the most common and disruptive cyber threats, capable of overwhelming network resources and rendering services unavailable to legitimate users. To address this challenge, the proposed DoS Detection System provides a multi-layered defence mechanism that identifies malicious traffic in real time. The system architecture consists of four major layers: Packet Capture, Processing, Detection, and Response. Network traffic from both legitimate users and potential attackers is first captured through the Network Interface Module.
