Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) have emerged as a vital approach to enhance healthcare delivery in India, particularly in states like Telangana. This study empirically investigates the functioning, effectiveness, and challenges of healthcare PPPs, while also incorporating the perspectives of key stakeholders including government officials, private partners, and patients. Using a mixed-methods approach, both quantitative data on performance indicators and qualitative insights from interviews and surveys were analyzed. The findings reveal that while PPPs have improved access to healthcare services and infrastructure, challenges such as regulatory gaps, resource constraints, and differing stakeholder priorities persist. The study highlights the critical role of effective governance, transparent policies, and collaborative frameworks in optimizing PPP outcomes. By integrating empirical evidence with stakeholder viewpoints, this research provides actionable recommendations for policymakers and private entities aiming to strengthen healthcare PPP models in Telangana and similar contexts.
