The rapid proliferation of electric vehicles (EVs) presents both unprecedented opportunities and significant challenges for global energy infrastructure. While EVs a cleaner alternative to fossil-fuel-powered transportation, their widespread adoption requires a robust, accessible, and intelligent charging ecosystem. The Solar EV Charging Station is a renewable energy–based charging system designed to charge electric vehicles using solar power. This project presents a small-scale prototype controlled by an Arduino Uno that monitors voltage, current, and energy consumption while providing secure charging access through RFID authentication. The system integrates solar energy generation, DC–DC voltage regulation, protection mechanisms, real-time monitoring, and smart control using a relay module. This prototype demonstrates the practical implementation of renewable energy systems, embedded systems, and smart infrastructure for sustainable EV charging solutions. This project contributes to sustainable energy goals aligned with India's National Electric Mobility Mission Plan (NEMMP) and provides a cost-e◻ective, scalable solution for EV charging infrastructure in residential complexes, parking lots, and commercial establishments.
