The rapid growth of urbanization and the increasing number of vehicles have created significant challenges in managing parking spaces efficiently. Traditional parking systems often rely on manual processes, leading to issues such as time consumption, traffic congestion, and driver frustration due to the unavailability of parking spaces. To address these challenges, this project proposes an Online Vehicle Parking Reservation System, which provides a smart, automated, and user-friendly solution for parking management. The proposed system enables users to check real-time availability of parking slots, reserve them in advance, and make secure online payments through a web or mobile interface. The system maintains a centralized database that updates parking slot availability dynamically, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Users can select their preferred parking location, date, and time, reducing the need to search for parking upon arrival. The system also includes features such as booking confirmation, cancellation, notifications, and digital receipts. From an administrative perspective, the system provides tools for managing parking slots, monitoring occupancy, and generating reports for better decision-making. The integration of real-time data improves resource utilization and enhances operational efficiency. Additionally, optional integration with IoT sensors can further automate the detection of available parking spaces. The system aims to reduce traffic congestion, save time, and minimize fuel consumption by streamlining the parking process. It enhances user convenience and contributes to smart city development by promoting efficient urban mobility. Overall, the Online Vehicle Parking Reservation System offers a scalable and effective solution for modern parking challenges, combining digital technologies with intelligent management to improve user experience and optimize parking space utilization.
