Abstract

Pregnancy is a critical phase in a woman’s life that requires continuous monitoring, timely medical guidance, and emotional support. However, many women face challenges in accessing reliable healthcare information, especially in remote or underserved regions. This project proposes PREGABOT, an intelligent system based on Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) designed to support women during pregnancy by providing personalized assistance and real-time information. The system acts as a virtual healthcare assistant that interacts with users through a chatbot interface, enabling them to ask questions related to symptoms, nutrition, medications, and prenatal careThe proposed system utilizes NLP techniques to understand user queries and extract meaningful intent from natural language inputs. Machine learning models are employed to analyze user data and provide context-aware responses, ensuring accurate and relevant information delivery. The system integrates a knowledge base consisting of medical guidelines, pregnancy care recommendations, and expert-validated data. Additionally, PREGABOT can track user health parameters such as diet, weight, and symptoms, offering personalized suggestions and alerts when necessary. Advanced features such as risk prediction and trimester-based recommendations enhance the system’s effectiveness in providing tailored healthcare support.The performance of the system is evaluated based on response accuracy, user satisfaction, and system reliability. Experimental results indicate that the chatbot effectively understands user queries and delivers accurate and timely responses. PREGABOT can be deployed as a web or mobile application, making it easily accessible to users. This system reduces dependency on frequent hospital visits for basic queries and empowers women with reliable information, improving maternal health outcomes. Overall, the project demonstrates the potential of ML and NLP technologies in developing intelligent healthcare support systems for pregnant women.
