Assistive robotics has become a vital research domain aimed at improving the quality of life for disabled and elderly individuals by enhancing independence and reducing reliance on caregivers. This study presents the design and implementation of a wireless gesture-controlled robot that enables intuitive and contactless control for individuals with limited mobility. Using gesture detection sensors such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, or IMU modules integrated with microcontrollers, the system interprets hand or wrist movements and wirelessly transmits commands to the robot through RF, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi communication. The robot executes corresponding functions such as movement, object retrieval, and navigation assistance. The system is designed with low-cost components, user-friendly operation, and high reliability to support everyday tasks. The robot improves accessibility by eliminating complex interfaces and providing natural gesture-based interaction. This research contributes to the development of smart assistive technologies that enhance autonomy, safety, and comfort for disabled and elderly users.
