The project titled “Drug Inventory and Supply Chain Management” presents the design and development of a centralized, web-based platform aimed at improving efficiency, transparency, and reliability in pharmaceutical logistics. The pharmaceutical supply chain plays a vital role in healthcare delivery, where even minor inefficiencies can lead to severe consequences such as medicine shortages, increased operational costs, and compromised patient safety. Traditional inventory systems, which largely depend on manual record-keeping and disconnected software tools, are highly prone to human errors, data inconsistencies, and lack of real-time visibility across stakeholders. To address these challenges, the proposed system leverages the Django web framework integrated with a lightweight SQLite database to provide a scalable and secure solution. The system facilitates real-time monitoring of drug inventory, automated order processing, and intelligent stock management through predefined threshold alerts. A key feature of the system is the integration of QR code technology, which enables batch-level traceability, authentication, and prevention of counterfeit drugs throughout the supply chain lifecycle. the implementation of role-based access control ensures secure and customized interaction for different stakeholders, including manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and pharmacists. The system also incorporates expiry date tracking mechanisms to minimize drug wastage and prevent the distribution of expired medicines. Experimental evaluation of the system demonstrates significant improvements in stock accuracy, reduction in processing time, and enhanced operational efficiency compared to traditional methods
