Abstract

Collab Circle is an intelligent, location-aware collaboration platform developed to bridge the gap between online networking and real-world teamwork among developers, designers, and technology enthusiasts. In the current digital era, most collaboration platforms operate globally, often neglecting the importance of local interaction, which plays a significant role in building stronger teams and fostering innovation. The proposed system introduces a geo-location-based networking mechanism that enables users to discover and connect with professionals in their vicinity, facilitating meaningful collaboration. The platform integrates multiple functionalities including user authentication, real-time geolocation tracking, skill-based matching, instant communication, and collaborative project management within a unified environment. By leveraging modern technologies such as React Native for frontend development, Django/Node.js for backend processing, PostgreSQL for data storage, and Firebase/WebSocket’s for real-time communication, the system ensures high performance, scalability, and responsiveness. The system uses intelligent matching algorithms to recommend potential collaborators based on proximity, skill compatibility, and shared interests. Furthermore, the inclusion of a cloud-based collaborative workspace allows users to manage projects, assign tasks, share files, and monitor progress efficiently. Collab Circle not only enhances productivity but also strengthens local tech communities by enabling users to transform ideas into real-world solutions through collaborative efforts.
