Abstract

In today's equity markets, investors are under a lot of pressure to act quickly, which is often caused by market noise and short-term volatility. Even so, empirical evidence and many successful investors show that holding stocks for a long time, based on core fundamentals and good selection, is a strong way to build wealth. The idea behind the "forever portfolio" is to get investors to find and keep good stocks for a long time, with patience being a key value. This study seeks to empirically investigate the efficacy and determinants of patient investment strategies in the construction of a perpetual portfolio.
