Abstract

Over the past several years, there has been an escalating interest, echoing enthusiasm, for electric vehicles. Electric vehicles (EVs) are becoming more typical in the transportation sector in recent times. As the current progression suggests, this form of transportation is more prone to oust internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles in the coming years. The motive of this project is to design and fabricate an Electric Vehicle. An E-TRIKE is a three-wheeler propelled exclusively by an electric motor; it is a Full Electric-Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). The design and fabrication of Trike involve designing a custom chassis on which motor, controller, battery pack and other parts can be integrated on it and fabricating a 48V, 1000Wh Battery Pack. The rider has the power to control the output power from the motor i.e., speed using throttle and controller provides power to the motor which in turn provides torque to wheels. Through this project we design and fabricate simple, and cost-effective Electric Vehicle
