Abstract

This study was conducted to assess the impact of training and development initiatives on employee performance and satisfaction at Hetero Drugs. The research explored various dimensions such as training frequency, content relevance, delivery modes, trainer effectiveness, and the alignment of training programs with job roles. The study also examined employee preferences, the selection process for training participation, and the mechanisms employed to evaluate training effectiveness. Data was gathered from employees across different departments and hierarchical levels, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the training ecosystem within the organization. The findings provided crucial evidence on how employees perceived the value, structure, and outcomes of the training programs offered by the company. The analysis revealed a predominantly positive sentiment among employees regarding the relevance and applicability of training programs. Most respondents felt that the content was updated regularly and delivered in a well-organized manner by knowledgeable trainers. The study also indicated that training had a positive impact on job performance, skill application, and workplace confidence. However, it also brought to light certain areas needing improvement, particularly in terms of consistent follow-up and strategic participant selection. The overall results of the study serve as a practical guide for the organization to refine its training strategies and enhance their effectiveness in contributing to employee development and organizational success
