UTILIZATION OF SOIL STABILIZATION WITH CEMENT AND COPPER SLAG AS SUBGRADE MATERIALS IN ROAD EMBANKMENT CONSTRUCTION

Unconfined compressive strength (UCS) was shown to be severely impacted by copper slag, according to the test results. The impact of the copper slag on the UCS was more noticeable for bond balanced out samples compared to unsettled ones. While the copper slag grew up to 20%, the UCS increased over 78% in the 2% solidified case, making it most apparent that there was an expansion. The optimal moisture content (OMD) decreased and the maximum dry thickness (MDD) of the soil increased as the measurement of copper slag extended, while the opposite was true for the consequences of the bond's expansion. A fruitful connection between the suggested model and the prediction of the versatile modulus of settled soils was shown by the results.
