Concrete is most widely used for Civil Engineering construction purpose. wherever we have see, concrete structures like Buildings, Bridges and Roads. Concrete materials which are mainly used are Cement, Fine aggregate, Course aggregate & water etc. By use of excess amount of concrete materials natural resources are going to depletion. Cement production is more throw in to Environmental depletion. The manufacturing of cement requires large amount of raw materials such as limestone & clay which can lead to habitat loss and biodiversity decline. Cement production is a major contributor to climate change, Air pollution etc. In the production of one ton of cement nearly 800kgs of CO2 is emitted into the Environment and it effects the Ozone layer. Our Aim is to decrease the huge amount of cement usage and reducing the economical cost of construction.
This project represents the comprehensive details of properties of materials, experimental investigation, compressive strength of concrete and tensile strength of concrete. As a partial replacement of cement we have to replace Ceramic waste powder as 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% also Wooden Husk as a partial replacement with the fine aggregate as 0%, 2%, 4%, 6% and 8 % of nominal strength of concrete using M30 Grade. Natural Resources are depleted by using more fine aggregate in concrete. Sand depletion can lead to flooding, biodiversity loss, contamination of water. So, By replacing Ceramic waste powder with cement and replacing Wooden Husk with fine aggregate we are protecting the Natural Environment.
